onurhelps.com is a personal, free website offering interactive engineering tools for mechanical and structural design engineers. It's operated independently by Onur Surlu. This page explains what happens with data when you visit.
onurhelps.com has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no contact or feedback forms that collect personal information. None of the calculators store your inputs on any server tied to your identity, and no cookies are set directly by this site's own code.
Two tools — Bolt Pretension / External Load, and the Rigid Body Reaction Force Solver — send the numeric engineering values you enter (dimensions, forces, material properties, and similar) to a private calculation server so the result can be computed, then display the result back to you. These requests carry only the numeric inputs needed for the calculation, contain no personal information, and are not stored or associated with any visitor identity. The other two tools (Mohr's Circle and Monte Carlo Tolerance Calculation) run entirely in your own browser and never send your inputs anywhere.
This site shows advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick/Google Ads cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance.
